A 6.5 to 8 hour course
designed to train miners in areas included in the Operator’s plan, such as
; statutory rights of miners, self rescue and respiratory devices,
transportation, controls and communication, escape and emergency
evacuation, fire warning and fire fighting, ground control and working in
areas of high walls, water hazards, pits and spoil banks, illumination and
night work, health, hazard recognition including welding, electrical
hazards, first aid, explosives, hazcom programs and msds’s.
