MSHA Part 48 Miner Training

Annual Refresher for Surface – Coal or Metal/NonMetal

An eight hour course covering areas in surface mine safety training including; statutory rights of miners, self rescue and respiratory devices, transportation, controls and communication, escape and emergency evacuation, fire warning and fire fighting, ground control and working in areas of high walls, water hazards, pits and spoil banks, illumination and night work, health, hazard recognition including welding, electrical hazards, first aid, explosives, hazcom programs and msds’s.
