Responding to Emergencies (24 Hours)

The first critical step in any emergency depends on the presence of someone who will take appropriate action.

After completing this course, you should be able to:

• Recognize when an emergency has occurred.

• Follow the emergency action steps.

• Check-Call-Care for an emergency.

• Provide care for injury or sudden illness until professional medical help arrives.
